The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the admit cards for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1/2025 on February 7, 2025, at 5 PM. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their admit cards from the official website: afcat.cdac.in.

Steps to Download the AFCAT 2025 Admit Card

1. Visit the Official Website: Navigate to afcat.cdac.in.
2. Access the Admit Card Link: On the homepage, click on the “Download Admit Card” link.
3. Log In: Enter your registered email ID and password.
4. Download and Print: Once logged in, your admit card will be displayed. Download and print it for future reference.

The AFCAT 1/2025 examination is scheduled to be held on February 22 and 23, 2025. This exam aims to fill a total of 336 vacancies across various branches of the IAF, including:

• Flying Branch: 30 positions
• Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: 189 positions
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch: 117 positions

Additionally, there are opportunities under special entries such as the NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry programs.

Exam Pattern

• Duration: 2 hours
• Number of Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 300
• Subjects Covered:
  • General Awareness
  • Verbal Ability in English
  • Numerical Ability
  • Reasoning and Military Aptitude

Candidates applying for the Ground Duty (Technical) Branch will also need to appear for the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT), which will be conducted immediately after the AFCAT exam.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

• Mandatory Documents: On the day of the examination, candidates must carry:
  • A printed copy of the AFCAT 1/2025 Admit Card.
  • A valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, or driving license).
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs (matching the ones uploaded during registration).
• Reporting Time: Arrive at the examination center at least 90 minutes before the scheduled exam time to complete the verification process smoothly.
• Prohibited Items: Electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
• Dress Code: Follow the prescribed dress code as mentioned in the official guidelines.
