Steps to Download the UGC NET December 2024 Answer Key:

1. Visit the official NTA UGC NET website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, locate and click on the link labeled “UGC NET December 2024 Answer Key.”
3. You will be prompted to log in. Enter your application number and date of birth to access your account.
4. Once logged in, the answer key will be available for download in PDF format.

The answer key provides the correct responses to all the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) presented in the examination. Candidates can utilize this key to cross-check their responses and estimate their potential scores.

Challenging the Answer Key:

If any candidate identifies discrepancies or has objections regarding the provided answers, NTA has facilitated a window to challenge the answer key. To do so, candidates must submit their challenges online through the official website. A processing fee of ₹200 per question is applicable for each challenge raised. The specific dates for the objection window will be detailed in the notice accompanying the answer key release.

Score Calculation:

The UGC NET December 2024 examination comprises two papers:

• Paper 1: 50 MCQs, each worth 2 marks.
• Paper 2: 100 MCQs, each worth 2 marks.

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. To estimate your score, count the number of correct responses and multiply by 2. For instance, if you have 80 correct answers across both papers, your tentative score would be 160 out of a possible 300.

Result Declaration:

Following the resolution of any challenges and the finalization of the answer key, NTA will announce the UGC NET December 2024 results. The results will be based on the final answer key, and no further grievances regarding the answer key will be entertained post-result declaration.
